Suzanne Osuna
DIRECTOR
Hello! My name is Suzanne and I am honored to be the Director at St. Paul CDS and work alongside the incredible group of teachers and staff we have here.
I learned of St. Paul when my nephew began school here in the Twos classroom years ago. When it came time to choose a school for our oldest son, it was an easy decision! The knowledge that my son would learn the basic structure and routine of school before hitting Kindergarten, and knowing he would be academically prepared, all while being loved on and learning more about Jesus made the decision to send him to St. Paul a no-brainer!
Our youngest son completed PreK here before moving into the Bridge class. We watched his social/emotional and academic growth firsthand and witnessed immense value in the gift of time our Bridge program offers.
I graduated with a degree in Communication and spent a few years in marketing and sales before making my way into education as a middle school teacher. I taught 8th grade at Bush Middle school for 7 years before leading teams of college students and full-time employees across the United States (and Canada and Puerto Rico!) for Kaplan, Inc. (the test prep company). I was truly in the middle of a season of trying to figure out what direction I wanted to take with my career and how I could find a role that would satisfy my desire to serve others when this opportunity came about.
I am grateful to God for equipping me with a team that is truly here to serve and grow each of our students as learners and people that will step into school ready to take on their education with grit and the knowledge that Jesus loves them and God is with them.
My husband, Robert, and I have been married since 2013 and are the very proud parents of our two boys - Robert, 11, and Jeffrey, 7. Food is my love language, so outside of school I can most often be found cooking for my boys or at the baseball field!

Elyse Johnson
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Hey Y’all, my name is Elyse Johnson and I am excited you are here. I am a Pre-K teacher here at St. Paul’s and I have always known education was my calling. I graduated from UTSA in 2014 and worked for a baby designer until I dove into education. I have been teaching since 2018 where I started with Special Education moved to 2nd grade and then finally landed working at the Preschools my daughters attended. I started at CBC in San Antonio for a year but then landed at St. Paul’s in the fall of 2020 and I knew this was Gods plan for me and my family. I am blessed to be starting my 5th year at St. Paul’s but did take a year off to have my youngest daughter. I love being in the classroom and watching little minds grow.
I have been happily married for 9 years to my husband Blake and we have three beautiful daughters Kinsey, Kambree, and Krosbie. Kinsey will be starting 3rd grade this year and attended two years at St. Paul’s. Kambree will be in first grade and went all 4 years at St. Paul’s. Krosbie will start at St. Paul’s this year in the 18 month old room. My girls loved the school and learned so much, they still have friends from St. Paul’s and will always cherish the memories.
We are a very busy family, so in our free time we seem to be at the softball fields or at the cheerleading gym. We do love to travel when we can but also just spending time at home and swimming.
I am so happy to work the most amazing team and the amazing children that are brought into the school!

Sarah Kinsel
ASSISTANT TEACHER
Hi, My name is Sarah Kinsel. This is my second year at St. Paul CDS. My husband and I have been married for 14 years, and we have 4 beautiful girls. We moved to the Hill Country from Seabrook in 2022, not long after the passing of our 3rd daughter in 2021. We wanted a change of pace and knew the hill country would give us just that. I graduated from college wanting to teach in early childhood education, but life had other plans and I decided to become a flight attendant. I have been serving the friendly skies since 2012, and have gotten to travel all over the world. In our free time my husband and I proudly run a foundation that we started in our daughter Kylie’s name, the Kylie Rose foundation. Our foundation financially assists with funeral costs for children. We also love to travel, float the river, and enjoy watching our oldest girls at their dance & cheer competitions.
