Welcome! My name is  Ashley Kraussman and I am privileged to have the opportunity love and serve a great community here at St. Paul Christian Day School for the last 5 years! My passions for early childhood education include helping your child have fun while growing physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially!

I attended Wayland Baptist University to earn my Bachelors of Science and Associates degree in Business Management. I am currently further pursuing my passion for Early Childhood Education. 

I am a proud mom of two fun boys and a wife of 14 yearsI In our free time we enjoy traveling, outdoor activities and watching our boys active in sports!

My name is Brandi Cannon, and I feel so blessed to be teaching Pre-K at St. Paul Christian Day School. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and began my career teaching Pre-K 3. Over time, I stepped into leadership roles and eventually served as a preschool director for 12 years. I felt the Lord leading me back to the classroom, where my heart has always been. This new season will allow me to pour into children more personally while also being present for my own family, and bringing Christ back to the center of our home.  

Teaching has always been more than a job for me, it’s a calling. I’m passionate about helping young children grow not only academically but spiritually. I love guiding children and planting seeds of faith that will bloom as they shine His light into the world.

I’m married and have two wonderful children, ages 2 and 5, along with two sweet dogs. In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, and spending quality time with my family. I’m so grateful to be part of the St. Paul community and excited for all God has in store for this school year.

Hi! My name is Kathy Von Buettner, and I am thrilled to be joining St. Paul as a Pre-K teacher!

Early Childhood Education has always been my passion. There is nothing more rewarding than watching young children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe children thrive in a nurturing, faith-filled environment, and I am excited to be part of the loving community that St. Paul provides.

After 31 years teaching in public schools, I recently retired and am excited to begin this new chapter. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-K through 1st grade. I graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.

I also cherish spending time with my family. My husband, Kurt, and I have been happily married for 30 wonderful years, and we have been blessed with two incredible sons. Our oldest, Thomas, is a teacher and is married to his wife, Chrislyn. They have given us the greatest joy—a beautiful granddaughter named Willow. Our youngest son, Travis, is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University and works in finance.

One of our greatest blessings is that our entire family lives nearby, allowing us to spend lots of time together. Whether we're enjoying family dinners, playing outside, or making memories together, I treasure every moment with the people I love.

I look forward to partnering with families and helping each child learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning!

My name is Tiffany Pullen, and I am so excited to be joining the St. Paul Christian Day School family for my first year. My family and I recently moved back to Texas after my husband retired from the Navy, and I am very happy to be back home and starting this new chapter with my family. We are excited to put down roots, meet new people, and become part of our community.

I began my teaching journey when my youngest child started preschool in Hawaii. That experience inspired me to begin teaching preschoolers, and this will be my fourth year. I have truly enjoyed every year of teaching and feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with young children. I love helping young learners grow, discover, and thrive in a nurturing and engaging environment. I especially enjoy watching children learn new things, build confidence, develop friendships, and reach new milestones. I believe that learning should be fun, hands-on, and filled with opportunities for children to explore and be themselves.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family—my husband, Travis, my son, Tim, my daughter, Catherine, and my youngest, Gabriel. We love spending time together, making special memories, exploring new places, and enjoying all that Texas has to offer. Being back in Texas and closer to family has made this new chapter especially meaningful for us.

I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families, becoming part of the St. Paul Christian Day School community, and building a classroom where every child feels welcomed, loved, and excited to learn. I am so grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait for a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, fun, friendship, and many special memories!
